Amazing Cairns Helloween Wedding
And The Art of Wedding Photography
It was a real breath of fresh air in my work to photograph such a great couple with an unbelievable story hidden by Tiffany and Aaron's wedding. I bet you will not believe it. No one was interested to photograph their wedding! Why? Because someone is different, someone who likes concrete, skateboarding, tattoos, and Halloween! All creative artists and even not experienced photographers will take that wedding in a blink of eye. Even all of my masters will do everything to take that job in hands and trust me - they will even fight for the best to get it all done. When I heard Tiffany's story for the first time it was obvious for me that this wedding is going to be mine. Seven months later we did it whole - all planned locations on one day... Tiffany, Aaron, their bridal parties, families, guests, friends and me behind viewfinder!
Few weeks after the wedding a lady in photo lab seeing their final enlargements coming out of the printer with my newly designed colours effects and freshly invented style of Halloween Wedding has commented: "It is so nice to see something different not only white dresses and veils", and after moment hearing Tiffany's story she add: "No wonder... why all of those photographers had no interest to work on it. They used to do so much what they do everyday... I don't think they will have any idea what to do with it" I kept silent.
From that wedding day I will have in my memory for entire life this little charming story about Tiffany with unforgettable green eyes who came to our booth at Shangri-La Wedding Expo in Feb 2009 nervously whispering in tears: No one wants to do my wedding...what can I do...?
